No Car, No Problem! is a side-scrolling arcade game that humorously addresses public transportation challenges at UC Santa Cruz. Inspired by Tiny Wings and Flappy Bird, the game features momentum-driven travel mechanics where the player controls a pixel bus navigating rolling terrain to reach various transit stops. I designed the primary playable character—the pixel bus—as well as the bus stops and title screen typography to establish a charming and approachable visual identity. The art direction uses nostalgic pixel aesthetics to highlight accessibility, community, and environmental themes through gameplay.
